Tulum is a city located to the south of the Mayan Riviera, many tourists frequent it every year. The word tulum or tuulum in the Mayan language means "palisade or wall" was formerly known by the name of Zama which means "dawn or morning".

The climate is classified as sub-humid with rainfall during the summer, during the day temperatures of up to 30°C and at night up to 20°C. One of the main tourist attractions is the ruins of Tulum which used to be an important center of worship for the descending Mayan god.

The Maya used to build their cities based on cosmology, so Tulum was created based on the "four corners" known as the cardinal points. The city itself had the shape of a quadrilateral which meant that everything in the world had to be ordered for gods and humans alike.

In addition to visiting the ruins you can also enjoy its beautiful beaches like Boca Paila, is an excellent place for children because the waters are calm and the sand is not so hot and is not a crowded beach.

If you are more adventurous and want to go deeper into the jungle, then you must explore the cenotes whose rocky formations will leave you amazed, some of them are the cenote labna, cenote calavera, Gran cenote, among many others.

What, did you get the desire for more? Then you must come to know this magnificent place, one of the best ways to get there is through this transfer service in Cancun. Without a doubt it is one of the best taxi services in Cancun that you can find, in my experience I highly recommend it because the transportation arrives at the time you tell it and the vehicle I was going to be in was comfortable and spacious.
